Setting Up Website

I have a blog of people and their stories. I’d like my top page to be photos of each of them, which the readers may then click on to read their stories. However, I really need a step by step walk through of how to do this— Sorry, I’m computer illiterate…..

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

Your theme (Snap) allows a Portfolio format of first page.
    Log in to WordPress.com

    1. Create a new page. By going to: https://wordpress.com/page/kyotofaces.wordpress.com

    2. On the right side you will see option “Page Attributes”, there assign the “Portfolio Page” Template to your page

    3. Publish your page, remember the name you will give here. It can be any name home/new/mypage/…

    4. Go to Customizer→ Static Front Page, and choose the “new page” (use the name you gave to the page from the drop down box) as your site’s static “Front page”

Then save and visit your website, you will see photos of the people and if you click on them, it will take you to the blog post.

Let us know if you need further help.

    – all the best,
