Setting up website for existing domain name

I’ve got a domain name registered with Netregistry and have paid for a cpanel subscription. It seems best if I develop the website with WordPress. I made a start but am confused about whether I should transfer the hosting to WordPress, or use WordPress to set up the site and transfer it to Netregistry. I don’t want to sign up for another subscription if it’s not necessary. Can you advise the best way to proceed? It’s going to be a simple site – offering a free download for a newly developed Devanagari font. It will have a download page, FAQ page, Installation instructions (not simple), and support. It will end up containing a dozen or so pages I think.

    Hi sanskritpro

-If you just want to use WordPress as software for creating your site then you can use WordPress.org platform.

As you already purchased domain and hosting from Netregistry you can just install WordPress.org software in your cpanel and start using WordPress to create your site. Here is the link that will help you out in getting more information on how to use WordPress org software on your hosting:

    Hope this helps.
