  Do I need to set up the site at WordPress prior to connecting my domain from GoDaddy?

  Hello!

  You would need to set up a WordPress site before you can map a domain name from elsewhere. As long as you have an upgraded plan you can manage the process of connecting everything be going here My Site → Manage→ Domains.
