  The button for Private in setting does not work when I click on it! Help!

  The “Private” button should be a radio button and you should be able to click on it, no matter what browser you are using.

  Just to clarify, are you trying to do this on this page? https://wordpress.com/settings/general

  Are you sure you are not able to choose “Private”? Have you tried changing web browsers to see if that helps?
