  Hi I am setting up my account but I don’t want my personal email etc showing

  Hi there,

  An email address is required to complete your account. Although your email address will not be displayed publicly on WordPress.com, when you comment on any site while logged into your WordPress.com account, the e-mail address will be visible to the site’s owner/administrator. Read more here:

  Where are you seeing that?

  It would not be visible on the front end of your site to any users. If you’re looking at a contact form on the site, for example, then you may see your details prefilled depending on browser settings – but no one else would see that. Instead, they’d see their own information.
