Settings image not changing when blog uploaded to other sites and media library

  Hello, once again I am trying to change the image in my settings section so that when I post my blog to sites such as Facebook – the new image is attached to the blog. But again it is not taking place. I see the change on the settings landing page and I see the change in the small icon but when I post it on Facebook the old image is still attached to it.

  The second question is that when I want to change my settings image – each time I have to load a page only from computer it will not allow me to grab an image from my media library even though I originally loaded these images into my media library for this purpose.

  Hi there,

  Facebook caches any page which has already been linked to from within their system, so that is why when you post a second time on Facebook, even after having changed your images, the attached image is still the same.

  You can attempt to refresh the cache that Facebook has by using one of their link debugger tools which they provide right here:

  https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

  In regards to your second question, are you talking about your site’s Blavatar (which can be changed under Settings >> General)? There are some places where you must upload an image from your computer rather than linking from the Media Library. I apologize for the inconvenience!
