Settings only show Poll

Now I have worked on my new blog for a bit I want to launch it publicly. Search engines are currently blocked. Alas, I have a problem. I know all about that long list of options under ‘Settings’, including the ‘Privacy’ one (Not new to WordPress – just a new blog.) Except all I can currently see under my ‘Settings’ is stuff about Polls (which is separately listed anyway.) What has gone wrong?

If you don’t see all of the options under Settings, maybe it’s because you are logged in as other than Administrator. This can happen if you have one existing username, and you created a 2nd username for the purposes of that blog only. Make sure you are using the correct username. Have you tried the username “sickmickinbrum”?

Ah-ha – that makes a lot of sense. I am working on this blog with my partner. I set it up. We are writing the posts together, so, yeah, there are two of us on it. I think that’s the answer – thought there must be something I had overlooked …
Will go and look at that now, but 99% sure that is the answer. Thanks loads.
