Settings (reading) not working

  Re SETTINGS (reading) I have had this set to ‘latest posts’ at 1 post at most. But as of yesterday (10/2/2012), 7 posts at a time have been visible (which is the criteria for your ‘scroll infinitely option). I need this to go back to 1 post at a time. Please help.
