Settings/Domains Option Missing
-
I am trying to update nameservers for another blog that I have on WordPress. Using the instructions I searched for here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/domain-management/
It says to go to “Go to Settings->Domains in your blog’s Dashboard; look for Domain Administration and change the password”.
When I go to “settings” it says nothing in the menu or on the page about “domains”. Can someone please tell me how in the world I can find this option so that I can update my nameservers. I purchased my domain name through WordPress, via Automattic.

If it’s relevant, I once changed my nameserver info, but since I’m changing hosting companies, I’d like to update the nameserver info.

I still don’t see it in my Settings drop down, and I think it may be because I’m accessing wordpress from my own install? I bought my domain name through the worpress.com site, via Automattic, BEFORE I decided to host it elsewhere. Now that it’s hosted elsewhere, when I try to log in to my “BLANK.wordpress.com site”, it redirects me to the BLANK.com page of my site instead of allowing me to access the wordpress panel that I initially used BEFORE I decided to be hosted off wordpress.
Is this why I don’t see “domains” under settings? And if so, how do I access my wordpress UI to be able to finally adjust my nameservers?

Yes, you’ll need to access the Dashboard at [blank].wordpress.com/wp-admin/ and visit Upgrades -> Domains there.
