I’ve had a WP site for 3 days, did the update yesterday and my blog posts stopped functioning as I expect them to (summarizing, showing a clickable link to continue reading).

Can anyone tell me what happened to my blog posts. Is this new non-linked […] an intentional replacement to what did seem a very functional and intuitive (Read More..) linked statement?
Or have I done something to negate the Settings/Reading/Article Summary switch (currently on)?
How can I, or can this be returned to how it was two days ago?

On the odd chance that you are talking about a site that is using the standalone WP software (which needs to be updated by the user) and not hosted on WordPressdotcom (where Staff do the updates for us) you’ll want to head over to the forums at https://wordpress.org/support/ If you don’t have a username there, you can register one on that page.
