Setup WordPress but do not put LIVE

  Hi,

  I am setting up a client website but they have their existing static website, how can I setup WordPress without affecting the old website?

  I don’t want to create subdomain or subfolder

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This forum is only for blogs/sites hosted by WordPress.com
  WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and different http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  And you should ask in the WordPress.org forum.
