Several concerns

    Hi,
    We are strongly considering leaving WordPress. Here is why.
    1. In some Reader topics, for example “Environment,” there are many feeds that do not provide a “block” option. We do not belong to WordPress to get news feeds or unblockable diatribes.
    2. We are SURE we blocked https://wordpress.com/read/blog/id/1799261/ Wutsupwiththat or whatever this right-wing kook calls himself. Yet he is back in our feed. Why?
    3. We recently got hacked/spammed/malwared in WordPress. We asked for help through your forums. WE GOT NO RESPONSE. WordPress was aware of these attacks, as others had been similar affected and reported it do you. You were silent. Horrible, horrible customer service.
    Any response to the above three concerns? Or should we just leave?

    Hey there!

    Answers to all your issues below…

    1. If you are looking through the Reader by tag, you’re right — you will get all posts tagged with “Environment,” for instance. If you’d like to be more selective, you’ll have to follow the blogs you want, rather than search for a general tag.
    2. If you want to make sure you’ve unsubscribed from this blog, you can do so here:
      https://wordpress.com/following/edit/
      If you see the blog title in your list, click the X icon, to delete it. You can also go to the site itself while you’re logged into WordPress.com. Then, in the upper, left area of the toolbar, you should see the link “Follow.” This will mean you’re unsubscribed. If you see “Following,” it means you haven’t yet unsubscribed. You can hover over this link until “Unfollow” appears…then click it!
    3. I’ve checked your account. There isn’t any malware on your WordPress.com site. Could you explain why you think your site was hacked? If I know the precise issue, I can troubleshoot it for you. Happy to do so. Also, I did respond 6 days ago, on the same day you placed your original query, but never got a response back from you:
