Several posts have disappeared

    Hello,

    For some reason that I can’t find out, more than half of my posts in a certain category has disappeared. I have 63 items but when I go to the category “instantâneos” it only shows 23. This category is related to the slider feature, which is weird since in my homepage the slider works fine and all 30 posts (max number that is supports) are displayed normally.

    Perhaps in some other category this has happened as well, but the instantâneos is the one I know for sure.

    The detailed theme description page link is here http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sight/ Note that there is no requirement for setting a category for your 30 latest featured posts with featured images in the Sight theme.

    Featured Slider
    Sight displays up to 30 of your latest sticky posts that have featured images in a prominent slider on the front page. To add a post to the slider, mark it as sticky and give it a featured image.

    Thanks timethief, I’m aware of that. It was on purpose that I specified the featured posts with this category.

    Do you know anything I can do to solve this issue?? It’s a big thing for my page…

    Good. Know that Staff respond to threads tagged for attention in chronological date stamp and time stamp order so it’ not in your best interest to keep posting here. It’s in your best interest to stop posting as posting moves the date and time stamps forward and it will take longer to get their help.

    Thanks for letting us know about this. I’m sorry for the trouble!

    It looks like the issue is with your sticky posts — only sticky posts on the first page of your category “instantâneos” are appearing, and the rest aren’t showing up. I did some testing and reported the issue to our team so they can look into it.

    Hi there,

    I checked with our team, and this is how WordPress currently displays sticky posts. On archive pages (like category pages), only the first page of sticky posts are displayed.

    One way to resolve this is to change the number of posts that are displayed per page on your blog. Under Settings > Reading in your blog’s dashboard, you can change the Blog pages show at most setting to match the number of sticky posts you have.

    Another option is to unsticky some of your posts. This is a good idea if you have sticky posts that don’t need to be marked as sticky any longer.
