Several slideshows in 1 blog affect other features

1. I just noticed that a YouTube videoclip that I embedded several months ago, seems jerky I played it. It never was before.
http://cyclewriteblog.wordpress.com/2010/05/08/missed-and-real-encounters-pacific-whales-and-wild-dolphins/So far, I also have 3 different WordPress slideshows, each embedded in their individual posts. Here’s a recent sample post with non-Java script WordPress slideshow.
http://cyclewriteblog.wordpress.com/2010/07/17/stained-glass-art-%e2%80%93-a-european-sampler-of-refracted-light-and-colour/Although the slideshows run automatically non-Java script, I’m just wondering if it’s possible the performance of certain blog viewing features, would be affected by having too many different slideshows running automatically in the future.
2. I also would like to know if a blog post is Archived, does the automatic slideshow “stop” temporarily until I retrieve/open up the post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m pushing this back up on the list. It’s been 10 hrs. waiting for a response and there have been people awake in Eastern North America.
I’m on the Pacific Coastal time zone.
The reason why I need to know is that I predict for the 3rd blog that I will need to set up will most likely incorporate YouTube and perhaps some short slideshows in different posts.

Yes, absolutely. The more rich media you have on a page or in a post, the more interference like this you’re going to get. If you’ve got your blog set to display three posts at a time, then maybe add a YouTube only every three posts, so there’s only ever one on the page.

Thank you. This helps when I plan the 3rd blog and meanwhile not get carried away with existing blogs.
