Several sticky pages using Oxygen theme
-
Hello there! Been using WordPress for a while now to host the website for our college radio station (WUMD – https://listentowumd.wordpress.com/), and we have been using the Oxygen theme since the beginning. However, I am not the one who set up the website…I only add our DJs profiles (Posts) as they come in. We really like the slideshow of profiles on the home page, and we would have our whole ‘bar’ (for lack of better words) filled with sticky posts. But lately I’ve been running into some issues with the so-called sticky pages not sticking to the home page. Can I just get some more detailed information about the specs behind sticky pages?
I thought I heard something about the pixel size of the featured image can affect whether or not the post sticks to the home page…is that still true? What does the pixel size have to be? Are blogs limited to the number of posts that can stick to the home page? If so, is there a way that the theme could be edited to fill in the slideshow bar so that there isn’t a big chunk of white? Any and all suggestions/answers welcome! Thank you!!

Hi there,
Posts need to both be marked as sticky and have a featured image that’s 750px or more in width in order to appear in Oxygen’s slider. I checked through a few of your sticky posts and can see the ones that aren’t appearing in the slider have featured images that are smaller than the requirement.
The theme does support up to six sticky posts and so, if you upload some larger featured images, you’ll be able to fill the whole bar. :)
Let me know if that information’s helpful or if you have any extra questions.
