Severing one blog from others

  I mistakenly added a professional blog to my account that was used for a hobby blog. The blogs have nothing to do with each other and I would like them separate in all ways as my political blog may turn off potential customers. Can I sever the blogs? Could I perhaps deregister the professional blog and re-register it as my real name?
