Share blog to facebook no pictures appear on facebook. Why? How can I fix it?

Shared blog to facebook, no pictures appear on facebook (or Twitter). There is a blank square (on facebook) along with the summary of the blog. I used to get the pictures. Now, this feature is gone. Why? How can I fix it?

That’s a common issue. Be clear on the facts, please. This is not a wordpress.com issue. It is a Facebook image caching issue.
Know that we have no control over the images that Twitter, Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
