Share buttons as a widget

  I’m looking to add the share buttons to the side of my site as a widget box instead of at the bottom of every page.
  How would I do that?

  I’m sorry but if you are referring to dynamic widget boxes they run on JavaScript and that code will be stripped out by the software here. Moreover, the whole point of posting sharing icons at the end of posts is the fact they are specific to each post that visitors choose to share. Using a widget box “instead” does not achieve this at all. What it does is allow visitors to click into your profile pages on various social networks.

  I’m looking to use the share buttons for the site and not individual posts. I use wordpress as a portfolio not a blog.

  I realize that the JavaScript is removed and have tried that already.
  I’m wondering if there is a way around it.
