Share Five Things You’re Good At…
-
I’m noticing what appears to be topic prompts for blogging appearing in my blog posts whenever I edit a post, or start a new one. Example is “Share five things you’re good at.”
Is this something new? If so, how do I turn this off? I don’t remember ever selecting to have such prompts appear while I’m working. I hate to be negative, but it’s annoying, and is not needed as it is distracting.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By the way, if it helps I noticed the apps do not have prompts at this point. If you use those and want to start there, that may help.

Thanks. I’m building a photo gallery that I can only do on my laptop. Is there a way to turn off the prompts in the meantime?

Hey there,
An opt out has not yet been released, but when it does, it should appear on this page here: https://wplmot.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-writing.php

And it’s been released now, also available via Calypso: https://wordpress.com/settings/writing/
Thanks for your patience and feedback on this!

Thank you all for the help, and the updated settings. This is much appreciated. I’m sure those prompts will come in handy for personal bloggers.

Agreed; I hope they help the right people, and I’m glad they no longer have to appear on sites with focused content. Thanks again for the feedback!
