SHARE icon does not appear on blog

  Like many others, I have followed the instructions to the letter, and the ‘share’ option still does not appear on my blog postings. Some of the complaints I’ve read regarding this ‘blip’ go back to more than a year ago… and there has been no response (that I’ve seen) to the issue. Why not? What can I do about the ‘Share’ option refusing to appear on my blog?

  Hi,

  The sharing buttons are appearing under your posts, for example: http://fibroflair.wordpress.com/2011/01/18/investing-vs-spending-energy-the-importance-of-you/

  However, the are not appearing on the main blog index, because you’ve selected “Posts and pages only” at Settings -> Sharing in your Dashboard.

  Changing that to “Posts, pages, and index pages” will show them on your main blog index.
