Share stats don't match shares on page

    When I look at my blog stats, I see that some of my posts have been shared on a variety of social media sites. However, when I look at the page of my blog, it might only show 1 share for twitter. I’ve also noticed that my shares for a post increase, without a subsequent increase in page views. Why do I see these discrepancies (I’m using standard buttons).
