  Is it possible to add a “Shareaholic” link at the bottom of each post. I have seen them on some blogs, but cannot discover how it was done.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This page may be of help to you for adding a Shareaholic link. Under manual installation, you should be able to use the FB like/+1 option to add the link to your posts.

  Thank you. I found out that “plugins” do not work on the “free” blogs. I believe this only works if you are hosting your own site, but since I no longer run Apache, I cannot host my own server (and I cannot afford paid services).

  You are correct re: plugins. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on free hosted WordPress.com blogs.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase here that provides FTP access and the ability to install plugins and or any third party themes. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. WordPress.com and WordPress.ORG have different logins.
