Shared Link

Just published a post called ‘Not good but not as bad as I was expecting. Hellraiser: Revelations (2011) review’ and while the post itself seems fine, when I’ve shared it to my Facebook and twitter pages, the links in those posts says it can’t be found, even though from what I can see the post is fine.

Hi there – We see what you mean. It does not look like you have changed anything about how you create and publish your posts. Just to be sure, can you let us know the following?
1. What computer or device do you create and publish your posts from? And what operating system is it using, along with the version?
2. What browser are you using and what is the version?
3. Do you write directly within WordPress.com editor, or do you write within an application like Microsoft Word and copy & paste over into WordPress.com editor?
4. Do you ever edit the “Permalinks” of your posts?
Thank you for providing those details! We’re currently investigating and will follow up as soon as we have more information. Thanks so much for your patience in the meantime.

Thanks for your patience while we looked into this.
It turns out it was a bug with our Open Graph tag generation. We’ve fixed that and you should be able to share your posts to Twitter and Facebook properly now.
Let us know if you still have trouble!

We had the same problem today and apparently it was in our case a problem with the Jetpack plugin.
I used the Facebook debugger (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/) to fetch the short link Jetpack provides for the post (wp.me/…) , and after that also the standard url started showing the preview. -

Have you tried debugging your twitter link here?
