hello, s’me again, the ever-noisy bug who cant seem to get his blog right over and over again. this time its to do with sharethis. i got the code which basically starts with:
script type=”text/javascript
i assume that because it is a “javascript” i am not allowed to use this on my blog?
is there anyway else, then, for me to use sharethis, or is it “NO, period, go to addthis.com?”

You’re right that ShareThis can’t be used on a wordpress.com blog, but there are options other than addthis.
If you just want to add social network sites, check this out:

dang. as good as wordpress is, this no-java jabberwokki drives me insane. i’ve already got theworldofm domain registered, next is to find a good host, and one i can afford! ive been searching for a month now and i seem to be getting very mixed reviews and advice that i just dont know where to go.

Well, if you use the instructions in the link Ella gave you, you’ll have some results. When I use it my hits go up by 10-15%. It’s not hard, either; copy/paste. Once you know how to do it, it takes less than a minute to add the links to the post. The only main link not on the list is Facebook.

talkr.com is a nice free text to audio service I found!
What I have done is: I am subscribed to my feed thru feedblitz.com and once I receive my feedblitz digest, it has a couple of links at the end of the post (like: Listen to this post, related and track comments). I just copy and paste the links into my post then and republish. Have a look at my most recent post.
