Is there a share a link option to allow a few friends to proof an unpublished site and to give content suggestions without allowing them to edit?

Hi there,
I see that your question has already been answered by one of my colleagues. If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.

This issue continues and is unresolved; tried inviting others to visit the unpublished/private draft of the free website created for this account. As suggested, tried to invite people by going to the menu section below Configure then clicked on People and added emails. One of the invitees says, when she follows the invitational link, it says the site does not exist. There was no category or roles for viewer other than followers, so that was what was selected. It seemed like the correct choice; with the benefits to allow invitees to access and review without editing abilities. What role should be selected, if not followers?
After asking for help yesterday, the person replying wanted to know the name of the account and has not had a chance to follow up; the pasted reply is below from support staff then mine providing address information:
Staff: I’m Darcie, a member of the WordPress.com Expert community. Let’s see what might not be working. What is the address of the site in question?
Reply: communityloyaltyprogram.wordpress.com

Gemma,
The screen shots from a couple of invitees that used the invitational link were sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Could not figure out how to send the shots through this page. Hopefully, these shots show what is needed to help to understand how to successfully invite guests to review a free unpublished site.
It appears, at least for one invitee, after he created an account and signing on, there was an option to click on a “visit site button,” but that option seemed to be limited. After using the invitational link, the button did not seem to be visible. When the button appeared and was clicked, no site information or content was available or it said the site did not exist.
Please let me know if there is a viewer’s role that allows continued site access before publishing? The invitees do not want to get involved in contributing or editing or making changes. They do not know how to operate WordPress yet; so, it’s better that they are invited to access the site as viewers or whatever role that has limited contributing capabilities.

Hi Vicky – Are you able to add the files to your media library? That’d be a good spot for them. Write back to Gemma’s email directly once you’ve done that so we can take a look.

Thanks for the reply, screen shots were added to the site’s WP free photo library; they are in WP library, dated October 19th fyi.
It’s not clear to me which email address is considered Gemma’s direct address, sent a reply to (email visible only to moderators and staff).
