Sharing a post and customizing the message for social media

    In August 2015, when sharing a blog post in social media upon publishing the post it was still possible to edit around the default text (same as the article title) in WordPress’s Customize the message -box. Now the default text has to be erased entirely if I want to edit the message, for example add hashtags for Twitter. Why is that? Have I changed a setting somewhere or is this just the way it works now?
