Sharing blog on social sites

  Dear WordPress people: Why don’t the ‘share’ buttons show the number of people who shared or ‘Liked’ my most recent post? Also, when I posted, I didn’t get an automatic email that said my blog was posted. Does that mean something went wrong? Thanks so much!!
