Sharing Buttons not working

  Hi, my social share buttons don’t seem to work right… Whenever I try to share a post on facebook the link to the post is not working… Also if I click on share by Email, nothing happens…. My blog is cherryblueberry.com Any advice? Thanks a lot!

  Hi there,

  Whenever I try to share a post on facebook the link to the post is not working

  I seem to be having the same trouble in sharing your most recent post to Facebook as well. I am going to have our engineering team take a closer look here, and I will update you when I know more.

  Also if I click on share by Email, nothing happens….

  I tried out email sharing, and it worked for me. Here is what I saw in my inbox: https://cloudup.com/csmiKn37gzF

  Since I am unable to replicate that on my end, can I ask for a little more info?

  When you say nothing happens, do you mean that you don’t get a pop-up (to add the email address to) or that you fill out an address (and successfully enter the Captcha) but the email is not sent? Are there any error messages or other obvious problems when you share in this way?

  Hi there,

  Just wanted to follow up to let you know that we have had a few other issues like this regarding Facebook, so moving forward that should be all fixed.

  If you continue to have any issues with FB shares not finding your post content, try running the URL of the affected post through Facebook’s debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

  This will clear any lingering cache issues on their end and pull the correct page description.

  Let me know if you need assistance or if you have any questions.

  Hi! Thank you so much for the reply and the advice. The problem with the email share button was that it was inactive – when clicking on it nothing happened. Now everything seems to work correctly – Facebook displays the content right, and I can share the post via email. Thanks again! :)

  Well my problem with the email sharing was that the button was inactive, meaning if I clicked it literally nothing happened – I didn’t get a pop-up. Now everything works again though. Thanks for the help!
