"Sharing" does not appear in my "Settings" menu although Jetpack is installed

I am unable to use sharing. As mentioned above, it is missing from my “Settings” menu. When I go to the “Learn More” button in the Jetpack plugin settings, there is a link:
To configure your sharing settings, go to the Settings → Sharing menu.
When I click the “Sharing” link there, I get the following message:
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.

    Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, (email visible only to moderators and staff) and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Sorry, I put the wrong blog URL. My blog is at http://www.teddosan.com

  • Can you please try deactivating all other plugins to see if that makes a difference?

I deactivated all other plugins, but I still have the problem.

  • Theme functions can sometimes conflict like plugins. Would you please temporarily activate the Twenty Eleven theme and check again?

Hi macmanx. I appreciate all of your help. I tried this, and it still does not work. I also administer another WordPress blog http://www.korehira.com and it has the same problem (using a different theme). The only common thread is the webhost (fatcow.com). Is it possible that this is some issue with the permissions they set on the hosting server?

  • I suppose there could be.

Internal server errors are usually described in more detail in the server error log. If you have access to your server error log, generate the error again, note the date and time, then immediately check your server error log for any errors that occurred during that time period. If you don’t have access to your server error log, ask your hosting provider to look for you.
