Sharing Error on Facebook
-
When I try to post the link to my blog on Facebook it only shows a small link to my site and not a big pictured link to the blog in trying to post. When I try another one of my past blogs, it works fine.
Any ideas?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I have the same problem.
I use Publicise and have Facebook turned on in sharing, but there’s no tick in the Facebook Publicise box for my latest post (I’ve tried to put one in but it won’t keep it) and it won’t share to Facebook, though my other Publicise shares work fine.
When I tried to share the post to Facebook myself I got the same problem as ahorschig – it only posted a generic link with no info.
This is the first post I have had problems with – it’s the most recent post on sequinsandcherryblossom.com

We have no control over the images that Twitter, Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

Thanks, time thief, but that’s not the problem. The problem is that I can’t post to Facebook, either though Publicise or through the sharing button.
I ran the URL for my blogpost (http://sequinsandcherryblossom.com/2016/03/21/never-tire-of-london-in-dr-johnsons-house/) through the Facebook debugger and it reported critical errors.
It said:
Could not resolve the hostname into a valid IP address.
The ‘og:type’ property is required, but not present.
The ‘og:url’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
The ‘og:title’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.
The ‘fb:app_id’ property should be explicitly provided, Specify the app ID so that stories shared to Facebook will be properly attributed to the app. Alternatively, app_id can be set in url when open the share dialog. -

Then you posted off-topic here. Please create your own thread https://en.forums.wordpress.com/?new=1

I’ll do that, though my reading of ahorschig’s post suggests he has the same problem as me, not just a problem with image size.

Hello, @ahorschig!
I’ve tested your latest blog post in Facebook debug tool and I do can see your Featured Image in Facebook post.
Here is a screenshot of it:
Fran, as @timethief recommended, would you mind creating a new thread for you? This way we can focus on your Publicize issue.
