    Just making an observation.

Adding the sharing icons of FB, Twitter etc to your front page increases page load time significantly. This may be an issue with the external services and WordPress may not have a solution, though it is important to highlight.

I tested this by moving the publicize icons off of the index page. The reduction in load time is evident.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I’m confused :S

The sharing icons don’t appear on the Front page of our blogs. We have to view the post on it’s own page to see them.

Settings – Sharing – Show sharing buttons on – Posts, Pages and Index

Above adds sharing buttons to the main page and it has a nice perk. It provides number of counts your blog post has been tweeted or liked.

I was tolerating the slowness for a while but finally have given up. Too many people visit websites through mobile and it helps to have your site load faster.
