Sharing in Setup

Problem linking WordPress to my LinkedIn account. Was working, and now stopped working. When attempting to re-establish connection, I received an error message from LinkedIn, “Partner has failed to properly implement authentication protocol”.
I cleared my cache and cookies, signed out of both WordPress and LinkedIn, then signed back in and retried the link. Same result.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Try the reconnection process again please. It’s outlined here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-linkedin

I just located another thread with this Staff comment in it:
We are having some issues with the LinkedIn Publicize connection recently. Our developers are working on this and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you so much for your patience!

Thank you! I’m pretty adept at the tech stuff, and this is just frustrating. You’d think WordPress would be able to identify the profiles/blogs using this feature and shoot them all an email or message, instead of just having us bang our heads against the wall…

There are over 38 million and many of us disable all but the bare minimal notifications as we are already drowning is a sea of email as it is.

Wow. Wasn’t aware of the size of the population…. It does look to have been an issue in the past as well… Fortunately (or Unfortunately for me), today was the first time I’ve ever encountered the error/situation… thank you again for your help and insight.

We have finally resolved the LinkedIn issue. Please check to see if it is working for you, and if not, please let us know.
