sharing main page on Facebook

    when sharing the static main page on Facebook it appears the website link but saying protected blog > log in. all other pages are shared normally with some text and the main image of the page. how can I share the main page without having this problem?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    I checked this on my Facebook and yes it is exactly what you described.

    But don’t worry. It looks like you had your blog set to private previously. Now it’s public but Facebook still has the old cached data.

    So this issue is on Facebook’s side. And you can refresh the data by using Facebook Debugger located here.
    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/

    Just enter your site URL which you wish to debug, press on debug and then press scrape again button.

    I’ve done this for you and the issue is solved but if this happens next time, you can use the Facebook debugger :)
