Hi,
I’d like to have some vehicle to allow subscribers to be notified that I’ve posted to my blog. I thought about using feed burner for the E-mail service, but I’m under the impression that they will be sent the entire post. I’d prefer that they be sent an announcement and just the headline. I’d like them to link back to my site.
I hope I haven’t missed something obvious, here. Sorry in advance if I have.

on feedburner theres an option to show an excerpt of your blog post in the e-mail rather than the whole post and if they want to read the whole article they can goto that blog post.

@ribverb, go to settings > discussion and set your RSS syndication to “summary” instead of full post and then all they will get from feedburner is a one or two line summary and they will have to click on the read more link in the email in order to read the full post on your blog.

Actually while adding feedburner account for my other blog, theres and option to just show the title of the posts, feedburner > optimize > BrowserFriendly > Content Options
Also, for that blog I have the full post option set and the RSS and Feedburner page only shows summary posts anyways. Not a big deal for me but I just thought I’d point that out. Could be a Vigilance theme sort of thing since I know setting to full post works on my main blog.
