Sharing not showing on icons

Hi,
My blog stats states this:
Top Sharing ServicesThese services have been used most often to share your posts on your site
Name Shares
Twitter 13
Facebook 6
Press This 5
Pocket 5But on my actual blog, the number with the icons only add up to a few. Wondering why all these shares aren’t showing on the blog.
Any help appreciated please.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The numbers you see on the blog are only the number of times someone actually visited the blog and clicked the share icon on the blog. The numbers does not include sharing that was done on the social networking sites themselves. WordPress.COM does not have access to that data.

Ah, so basically people who clicked it but didn’t actually share it? And that wouldn’t show on the little number attached to the icon even though it shows under my stats?

Every visitor entering your blog creates at least one page view stat. Thereafter clicking a post link creates a page view stat and clicking a page link creates a page view stat. Are you clear on that?

Okay then. All I can say is that WordPress.com only has the data on how many clicks are made on the share icons on the bottom of the posts themselves. The posts could have been shared elsewhere ie. not by clicking the share icons on the blog posts.

Oh I see. Is there any way to find out what other methods are being used for sharing besides the icons?

This is a peer support forum and the threads are resources we all search and use to find answers in. Threads are not deleted here unless there is a serious personal security and safety issue.

We bloggers cannot edit, close or delete and threads here at all. Only our Moderator and Staff can do so and only if there is a serious personal security and safety issue.

Oh, I was under the impression we could edit upto an hour of posting. It says that on the Forum Welcome Page:
Users can edit a post for up to 60 minutes from the time of submission. After that, the post can only be edited by a moderator.
Am I missing something? -
No it does not say that here at WordPress.COM now nor has it ever said that. I can say that with full confidence as I predate all but a single support Staff member being on Staff and I predate all the support docs as well.
