sharing on social media – incorrect feature image

When I share my blog post on social media (short link or buttons at the bottom of the post), it posts with my wordpress profile image and not the featured image I’ve attached to my blog post. This has worked fine in the past — just not the past two days. Help!

We have no control over the images that Facebook or any of the social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
