  Hi I’m trying to share my first post to twitter, and it’s not showing the image associated with it, is there a way to select the image to share with the link? I hope that makes sense. Thanks

  Hi!

  Yes! When you’re making your post, on the right hand side, underneath the tags, you should see the “Featured Image” setting. I think that’s what you’re looking for! It should set what shows up in the preview across various platforms.

  Hey, thank you for your help.

  I’ve selected a featured image but it’s still showing as without one when I try and share it?

  Hi there,

  Try running the post URL through Twitter’s validator at https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator and see if that helps – if you initially shared the post without a featured image, the data for that post is now likely cached on Twitter’s end, so they just re-use it on each subsequent share. Running the post through their validator should reset that cache, so they re-check the post for an updated preview.
