Sharing posts on Facebook Group (not individual)
-
Is there a way to have my posts shared on a Facebook Group, instead of my personal / individual Facebook page? Tumblr does it this way by use of a Facebook ID, but I have left Tumblr cos their services are quite limited and the support and help is horrible / non-existent.
This is the Facebook Group I want my posts to go to, which I am the Admin of: https://www.facebook.com/crazyregcomics And the Facebook ID of this group is no longer seen in the URL because I’ve given the group a nick name / user name, which shows in the URL. However, Google still shows the Facebook ID, which is: 122394541130611
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. See if this helps…

(It talks about a Fan Page, but I figured it might also work for a Group…) -
If you simply click the “share” button (or use a browser add-on, such as “add this” in Firefox to “share” on FB), you will see that in the upper left-hand corner, it will default to your user profile/wall (provided, of course, that you are logged in to facebook). There is a drop-down option “on your own wall,” “on a friend’s wall,” or “in a group.” (You can also share via facebook PM.) Choose “in a group,” then begin typing the group’s name. The share app will present you with the group’s name once it has enough letters. Then you just continue to “share” as usual, putting in a comment & selecting an image, if there’s one available.

Of course, if you want all of your posts to go to the group, then using one of the options on timethiefs blogging tips blog would be better.
