Sharing Posts to Facebook

  So I linked my facebook account to my WordPress account expecting it to automatically post a link to my blog post when I make new posts on WordPress. The first two posts, one with a single image and one with multiple images created a new album on my FB with all of the photos individually uploaded. This confused me but I went with it. The next automatic post saved two out of six pictures chosen what looks to be at random, and one of them was saved twice, and the next one also had unexpected results.
  How do I automatically share my posts to Facebook without uploading the photos? How do I just automatically post a link? And what do I do if I DO want it to save all the photos?

  We have no control over the images that Twitter, Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  Okay thank you but I’m not sure this answers my question. A facebook album was created an uploaded all the photos, and it does this sporadically and at random.

  I’m not asking about thumbnails or previews, to be clear.

  I have never ever had a link I posted on Facebook save the images from the page to an album on my account. So what’s going on and how do I control it?
