Hi there!
Can you tell me a little bit more about the issue you’re having? Are your social media sites still connected at Settings > Sharing? Are your newly published posts not sharing as expected? Can you still see the social media accounts in the publishing module in the editor?
-
Yes all my social media sites are all connected. However, when I go to my post and try and upload the post to the sites they never go through. I’ve disconnected and reconnected the social media sites and to avail. Also everyday I’m always reconnecting my facebook to my blog because it is always getting disconnected.

So, when you publish a new post, it doesn’t share to Facebook like it’s supposed to. Does no post appear? Or does something you don’t want appear?

Are you getting a notification that your account is disconnected? Or are you reconnecting because of the above issue with not sharing when you publish?
Thanks for your patience answering these questions. These connection issues can be difficult to figure out since a large portion of the connection is on Facebook’s side. We can’t always see exactly where or why an issue is happening.
-
Yes when I go to post nothing is appearing on any of my social networks: google+, Facebook, linked in. When I click share this post after checking off the boxes for my social media sites and hit update the boxes are not checked like they should be, thus rendering them not shared. Also no I never get a disconnected notice I just disconnect when they stop sharing.
-
Thanks for the information! That’s very helpful! I currently only see Facebook connected to your site. Are you having this issue with other social networks also?
Could I have you connect your other social media accounts via Settings > Sharing and then publish a short test post? I’m online right now, so I can quickly go take a look at your social sites as well as your published post, and then you can delete the post and any shares that go through.

So I see it posted to my Facebook which is great! But why does this disconnection keep happening and what can I do to prevent this for future references?
-
Thanks so much for doing that! Sorry for the slight delay while I did some testing on my own. I don’t see any reason why your account would be causing these problems.
When you publish and the link doesn’t appear, are you trying to update an already published post? If you publish a post and go back to update it, we won’t publicize the post on Update. We only publicize posts on the original Publishing of the post.
Does that sound like what might be happening? Or do you always share when you initially publish your posts?

I just wanted to follow up real quick. We have a couple of other reports about Publicize not working. It’s been reported to our developers, so I’m just waiting to hear if they see anything happening on their end.
I’ll let you know as soon as I hear back!

Hi there.
I’m sorry, I don’t have an update for you. Unfortunately most of our developers are working on some more wide-spread issues right now stemming from a recent update. I can’t give you a time frame for when they’ll be able to look into this Publicize issue.
-
My business thrives off of social media, how am I supposed to continue marketing if the publicize aspect is not working. Hopefully this issue will be addressed quickly.
-
We understand that being able to automatically publish your posts to your social media account is very important. And we’re collecting as much information as we can to try narrow down what’s happening for the handful of users who are having issues right now.
In the meantime, you can always manually share your posts to your social media accounts.
I promise to let you know as soon as I hear back from the developers about this issue.
