Sharing site on Facebook

  When I share my site’s link to facebook, the excerpt says “This is just a short excerpt about your blog.” I went to the settings page but I dont see an option to edit the appearance when shared on Facebook. How can I change this?

  The site that I am editing is flighttofilm.wordpress.com

  Hi!

  To edit the page excerpt, go into the Customizer tool’s Pages section:
  https://wordpress.com/pages/flighttofilm.wordpress.com

  Select your About page. And in the left-hand column click on the “More Options” button.

  You will be able to edit the phrase, “This is just a short excerpt about your blog.”

  Be sure to click the blue “Update” button at the top of the left-hand column after you’re done editing!
