I have followed all instructions, however it either hasnt worked, or it takes time for the upload. How long does it take usually for a blog on wordpress to share to your facebook profile?

How long does it take usually for a blog on WordPress to share to your facebook profile?
This should happen instantly. You can check if there are no extensions in your browser which might be blocking the Facebook sharing option. You can also review the steps you have followed to connect to your Facebook profile. Mind you that only the newly published posts appear on Facebook and not old ones.

Our logs show you only connected your Facebook account more than an hour after you published the first post on your site. Posts published before a connection was made are not shared automatically. That will only start happening with the next post you publish.
You can check if there are no extensions in your browser which might be blocking the Facebook sharing option.
There is no possible way a browser extension can influence how Publicize works. Publicize depends on direct communication between our servers and Facebook’s servers. A browser extension can only block code from loading on a person’s browser.

A browser extension can be the cause if you’re having trouble connecting to Publicize, as that requires the authorisation screen to load in your browser. But once that connection is made it’s just servers talking to each other directly.
