Sharing with other sites. How do I keep the post image?

My site shares to my facebook, and twitter accounts. But I cannot figure out how to keep my blog image when sharing it gets replaced by my bio pic?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I checked few of your blog posts on Facebook and Twitter debugger. One of your posts displays correct blog image on Twitter but not on Facebook. Other post displays no image and one post displays your bio image as you reported.
I think there is some issue with fetching of image. I would suggest you to upload the images again and then add to you blog posts.Then go to Facebook Debugger https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/
Enter the URL of posts and click Scrape again.Also, go to Twitter Debugger
https://cards-dev.twitter.com/validator
Enter the URL and click Preview Card.Check the preview of your posts if they are displayed correctly. If not then add modlook in sidebar for staff assistance.

@kgpetrone: I can see your bio image when sharing the “American Flag Of My Homeland” post to Facebook, rather than that post’s featured image. Is that the post you were referring to in your original question?
That post’s featured image isn’t being shared to Facebook due to its size. Facebook requires images to be at least 480px (in both width and height). We have further information into Facebook’s requirements, and the order that WordPress.com suggests images to them, outlined here:
If you upload a different featured image to that post, I recommend submitting the post’s URL to the Facebook Debug tool, as per @krutidugade’s guidance. Facebook can sometimes hold onto old information about a site and their Debug tool enables you to manually submit new information.
Reply back here if you’re still not seeing the correct image for your post after following the above guidance or if there’s a different post where you were seeing the wrong image. I’ll be happy to take a further look!

No, but I think the issue was due to images that were not free to use. Therefore, I have changed them and will try my best to find royalty free images, when needed. Might even stretch my own creativity and try to make/take my own.

@kgpetrone: The source of the image shouldn’t have caused the issue here but it’s definitely good to be aware of copyright laws :) We have some links to places where you can find free images here:
