Sharing your blog by email

  Dear Sir/Madam,

  I am new to wordpress.com and I have just published my first blog. I want to share it by email to a number of people. How can I? I read the support notes but I cannot make an sense out of them. Would you please help me? I would appreciate the help. Thank you very much.

  You could write a summary of your post then email your friends an invitation to read it.

  If you want to invite your friends to follow your blog then you can invite them as users. If they accept the invitation they will receive an email each time you write a post.
  dashboard—>users—>invite new—>

  • fill in up to 10 email address at a time, separated by commas
  • invite them as “followers”
  • in the message box write your invitation (you can include a short summary of your post / of what your site will be about)
  • send

  Note that because your blog is not “private” the folks you invite do not need a WordPress account.
