Sharper Header

  I have spent weeks trying to figure out how to make the header image appear sharper. I have saved it in all formats, but when I see it in Photoshop it is so much sharper than live on the site. Why is that? and how can I make it look sharp. You can see the image here: http://realagenda.files.wordpress.com/2011/07/header6.jpg and the way it looks on my website is much worse; especially the globe, which looks blurry.

  What we have found is that if one does not compress and presize the image to exact specifications and then uploads it and brings the cropper into play that image quality is lost.
