Sharpness on blog has changed

  When I post my images at 800 pix longest side they appear sharp when I ” view post ” but soft when I actually open the blog.

  Does not do it at 700 pix

  Has only started doing it in last few weeks

  Please help
  I hate my images being soft
  It means that every post I have done in the past, hundereds of them are all soft !!
  As I love 800 wide !!
