I’ll be glad to help. Please send me a link to the instructions that you’re following.
Let us know what color you want the menu text to be. Thanks!

Hi there! I would also love to change the background color for the main Shawburn menu. Thank you!

Hi there,
I assume you’re speaking of the option to change colour schemes in the Customizer? Those options are not available on all themes, and Shawburn is one of the themes that doesn’t have that option.
Beyond fixed colour schemes, you can also change the colour of specific elements on a page using custom CSS code on our Premium Plan.
Depending on what exactly you’d like to change, you can add some or all of the following code to the Custom CSS panel in the Customizer, substituting the color values with the ones you want:
/* Change menu bar color */ #site-navigation.main-navigation { background-color: pink; } /* Change menu hover and active color */ #site-navigation.main-navigation ul > li:hover > a, .fse-template-part .main-navigation ul > li:hover > a, #site-navigation.main-navigation ul > li.focus > a, .fse-template-part .main-navigation ul > li.focus > a, #site-navigation.main-navigation ul > li.current-menu-item > a, .fse-template-part .main-navigation ul > li.current-menu-item > a { background-color: purple; } /* Change menu text color */ #site-navigation.main-navigation a { color: green; }Also note that as you all three own the Premium Plan, you can also get help with stuff like this via live chat at https://wordpress.com/help/contact

Hi Kokkieh,
You don’t know how much you’ve helped me with this CSS guide. Maybe a lot of people who have that theme in premium plan, we were trying for a long time to change the color of the main menu.
Thank you so much for your help.
