Shawburn Theme demo content

  Hello, I’m relatively new to WP. I’ve downloaded and installed the Varia theme (parent) and Shawburn theme. I liked the look of the main demo of Shawburn on WordPress.com and started making changes to customize for my site. But I realized I should be doing this on my self-hosted Bluehost site. But when I activate Shawburn, none of the demo content is incorporated. Is there a way to download that as well? Thanks very much.

  Hi @kkhan75, demo content is currently set up per site depending on the options you select in signup. But you’d be welcome to create a site here with generated content, then export and import that into your Bluehost installation.

  Hi, thanks for taking the time to reply. So you’re saying if I constructed a site I was happy with on the WordPress.com version, I could then export that site and import it into my Bluehost installation? If so, that might be an option. Do you have detailed instructions on that export/import process or perhaps a video link I could watch? Thanks again, Kamran.

  So you’re saying if I constructed a site I was happy with on the WordPress.com version, I could then export that site and import it into my Bluehost installation?

  Not the entire site. Only the content, i.e. posts and pages. But setup, menus, customizations, etc, cannot be exported.
