Shawburn's featured image size is GIANT

    Hey all!
Basically the issue is what I wrote above.
I’m just doing a kid’s book review blog for myself. If I set the jacket photo to be the featured image, it shows up as the full size. Most annoying.
I can’t find anywhere to edit that in the Appearance section. Can’t access CSS because it’s a free blog so far.
Is there anything else I can do?
Or a similar blog theme to switch to, that puts maximum height restrictions on teh featured image?
    Thank you,
    Niki

  • Hi there,

This is something I can see on your site now? I did not see a full size image on your site when I took a look but perhaps I was in the wrong place?

The blog page template of this theme does show rather large featured images because it displays them at full width. A tall vertical image like a book cover might exaggerate this effect, which I think looks best with horizontal or square images.

One option you may want to consider is setting up your own blog page using the Blog Posts block. You can see in the video I recorded at this link, the block settings allow you to create quite a few different blog layouts. See: https://d.pr/v/u8dJz0

    Hope this helps!
