Shawna said to highlight page contentsand right click, then select copy, then paste it to WordPress

I am unable to highlight page text and select copy. First of all, I don’t know how much to highlight as my current site does not have a ‘page’ format. When I do highlight a portion, I am unable to have a ‘copy’ option. Even if I did, how would I paste it to the site as she instructed?

Hi
I have reviewed your chat with Shawna and have some tips on how to copy and paste your site into WordPress.com. If you’re having trouble with the actually copy and pasting this external guide may help:
http://lifehacker.com/5801525/help-new-pc-users-learn-how-to-copy-cut-and-pasteTo move your site, here are the steps I would recommend:
1) Log in to WordPress.com and create a new page/post here is our guide on that:
2) Once you have the new page window open visit your existing site in a new tab/window
3) Select the text you wish to bring over to WordPress.com.
3) Copy the text
4) Come back to WordPress.com and paste the text into the new page you created in step one
5) RepeatFor images you will want to right click them and select “save file as” and then upload them to your Media Library following this guide:
